My notebook is my most used tool. I carry two, one for writing, and one for drawing problems. I use the large moleskin type because it receives ink and pencil well, and it just fits in vest or jacket pocket.
The notebook acts as a barometer for my feelings and ideas about the mystery of this world; sometime plants, sometime humans, buildings, ideas for paintings or photos, film action, and loves. |
When I am confronted with old notebooks I feel like and archeologist digging in a field of ideas and emotions, other times like a voyeur. I wonder at the heights and depths they portray, sometime goodness; sometimes the corpse that lives feeding on my brain.
