I remember a guy named Mike Moore who edited arguably one of the best outdoor publications in America, Mountain Gazette; it was the home of George Sibley, Cactus Ed Abbey, Rob Schulitis, and a pack of other eco-creeps who told the truth fearlessly. That Mike Moore, I remember as a terminally rude guy with a good thing going: we cheered when he moved to New York and got mugged, something he'd done to writers for years. His place was taken by a pack of yuppie puppies who tooted up the magazine, moved to Aspen to be what they ought to be: waiters and servants for the rich.

Well, that Mike Moore would never produce pap like what I received as e-mail purported to be from Michael Moore, calling for people to vote for Democrats at election time, rather than third party people or not all. Ever since the wonders of GATT and mysteries of NAFTA (Where did all that money and those jobs go?) I have viewed the Democratic party as pack of jackals running with their pals the hyenas and vultures of Republican theocrats. They spent half a century mismanaging a rather pleasant country, turned it into a Darwinseque hell where the poor and intellectual were patronized, marginalized, shut out, and denied hope of economic viability.

This arrogance and abuse of power is at its zenith in William Clinton and his handler the Hillary. I will not comment on their unspeakable morals or the uncouth manners but on their rather criminal economics. They carried out the vision of George Bush and his cocaine cowboy sons, plundering the Republic and turning our backward country into an English model yard sale. All this done by a man whose handlers in Britain included Alex Cockburn and Ken Coates, somewhat enlightened thinkers.

Clinton has no record on rights, having started with the bloodbath at Waco, carried through with the events in Oklahoma City and leading to a death row filled with the felonious and the blameless. His drug warriors steal, rape, and kill with impunity in the name of law and order; his so called social services attack innocent children and turn them into twisted drugged out zombies, mindless bodies and Moore wants the criminals doing this reinstated in office.

The prisons are filled to the brim with P.O.W.'s of a failed war on drugs. Death Row has the reapers taking writers and pot farmers along with those guilty of heinous crime. Prison builders are a major employment for those dispossessed from farm jobs, now men watching men do bestial things to other men.

With the events of the election surprise, it will be business as usual at Foggy Bottom. More Dems, no impeachment except if those Chinese launch their newly acquired missiles in this direction. Thank God for the toady intellectual brown noses in the journalistic community. Step forward Michael and on your knees..

You are in the company of the same people who are working to censor the internet, pressed the button to kill the Brown and Black in Africa and Asia, now returned to their place nose down in the public trough. If the president was deposed by coup, it might have been because he failed to disarm the few independent thinkers who took up arms in the Militas and the work place. Ordinary people trying to hold life to a scale that includes humans, something Mike Moore the film maker tried to do in Roger and Me. Clinton and Co mugged America and carried on the dream of the people who started the coup in 1963 and will be replaced by theocrats led by the Bush men who in turn sell their constituency for a place on Martha's Vineyard.

Maybe Denver is safer than New York.
